On 9 November 2024, we were delighted, proud, and honored to participate in the Grand Opening Ceremony of Metal Jewelry (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (MJC), the first jewelry maker in the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ).

The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board, representing H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister, First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and attended by many government officials, and business partners.

In his inauguration remarks, H.E. Chea Vuthy emphasized the significance of MJC’s investment in enhancing local industry capabilities, creating employment opportunities and providing skills for Cambodian workers. He was impressed by the magnificent architectural design of the facility and the comfortable working environment which showcased the company’s attention and effort put into its production, as well as reflected their care for the well-being of its workers and staffs.

The new facility is set to focus on the production of high-quality jewelry, and is expected to bring advanced manufacturing technologies to the country, aligning with our vision of transforming Cambodia into a hub for high-value manufacturing. This opening marks another milestone for the RGPPSEZ as it continues to attract international companies across various sectors, contributing to Cambodia's economic resilience and development.
